  • 1.  Failed to send set_hub to spooler (communication error)

    Hi Team,


    We are receiving numerous alerts for "Failed to send set_hub to spooler (communication error)" in our environment for Windows and Linux servers.

     

    Current robot version : 7.8 UIM: 8.31

     

    We had increased the hub update interval at some of the servers but still the result is same. For Linux servers we had checked SELinux and it is turned off.

     

    There are many alerts still. Could anyone suggest or have idea how to fix this.

    I would suggest updating the robot to robot version 7.80

    I would also suggest clearing the niscache folder.

    If those help check and make sure other probes are up to-date such as process and perfmon.

    If the robot has db2 or exchange_monitor you may need to clear niscache with a cron or windows task periodically.
