in the admin log I see that PMO is successfully installed and there are no errors displayed, but when I look in the application -> Administration -> Content Add-Ins, it says 'Installation Failed'

When I click on the Items tab, everything has an 'Installed' status apart from:
'Idea and Project Category Paramterized Lookup'
Can anyone please explain why the PMO status has an 'Installation Status Failed' ?
You may have had errors during the PMO installation, which made it to show Failed. I'd probably recommend you raise a Support case with your admin.log and the export of your cmn_install_history table for us to look at.
