    Hi,

Is there a way to run smpolicysrv -stats on mutiple win policy servers and get results.

When trying write script came across below link which says

Note: On Windows, do not run the smpolicysrv commands from a remote desktop or Terminal Services window. The smpolicysrv commands are dependent on an interprocess communication that do not work if you run the smpolicysrv process from a remote desktop or Terminal Services window.

So how can we get results using scripts, instead of login everytime....Thankyou

    Hi,

You can actually achieve that by creating a scheduled task.

I have some screenshots you can reference.

Configuring an ALL-IN-ONE VM Image - Part 1

Look for "And you can configure a scheduler to run "smpolicysrv -stats" command to get the policy server statistics."

    Another reference from Mark.ODonohue here.

He also has screenshots with instructions.

And it would be good to vote on the idea below.

Policy Server to run smpolicysrv -stats at regular interval

    Regards,

    Kim

    Hi Silva

You may also want to vote for this "Idea" : to make it part of the normal policy server operation.

Policy Server to run smpolicysrv -stats at regular interval

    Cheers - Mark

    Thankyou Kim,

I agree with you, but I am looking for a possible way to run script directly in environment which is already existing
