SDP - Remote Administration

Hi all, I have a few issues with SDP and I would appreciate your input. 

 

We have just upgraded to SDP v2.63 and I am having issues with the Remote Administration Function. 

 

When trying to access this console via SDP I get the attached errors. All errors relate to SQL Exceptions which leads me to believe that this is either because we are not running the compatible version of Nimsoft SLM or that I have not installed a dependent probe. 

 

We are running Nimsoft Server v4.0 with SDP v2.63, all on Windows 2003 R2.

 

Have a look at the errors and let me know if there is an easy fix.

Have you looked at your database to see if those tables exist.  My guess is you need at least NMS 4.1 and mybe 4.3 you can check the requirements doc and it should tell you.

2. Requirements
Nimsoft Service Delivery Portal supports the follow environments
· Nimsoft Monitoring Server (NMS)
· NMS Server 4.0 or later
· Due to architectural limitations of NMS, all systems
in the NMS domain must be controlled by either the NMS robot OR
by the NMS RSP (Remote System Probe).

Adobe do yet not support 64bit Flash Player

Yeap, got all of those thanks.

 

As stated earlier where running Nimsoft Server 4.0. 

 

Might have to raise a support call if no one has seen this before.

The issues was that during the installation process the Discovery module was not installed. 

 

I have done this as part of our upgrade to 4.11. 

 

All Resolved.
