example of the drag and drop (which lead to nothing)

    1) pickup the file and move it to the session

    copy files01.jpg

    2) watching the progress bar

    copy files02.jpg

    3) message to assure the completion of the upload process

    copy files03.jpg

result is nothing at all !!

    Hello,

I have been able to reproduce this issue in my lab and we are looking to understand the cause and how to fix it. I'll update the tread once we have a solution.

    Thanks,

    thanks AaronArmagost

in fact i have solved (almost) most of it.

when you drag and drop any file , it is uploaded to a new drive on the remote machine , called (X on Guacamole RDP)  where x is a free drive letter . then the client can copy the uploaded files from it into the remote server ,,,

    Guacamole on win2012.jpg

and when the user need to have files from the remote server to his machine , there is a folder inside that drive called download , as soon the user paste on it, it is downloaded on this browser and he should choose where to save in on his pc.

it turn out that some Windows 2008 servers (not all) does not show this drive letter so no place to upload or download files, i guess it is some sort of security at the client , but still ii cannot figure it out.

    Hello,

We found that there could be a GPO that would block this related to drive redirection. Can you check to see if there are any from the domain or/and user level?

    Thanks,
