  • 1.  How to set the registry in devtest login as per the access given.

we have one enterprise dashboard and 3 different registry (3 different server hosted VSE) connects to same enterprise dashboard. Among these 3 servers, we have divided users to access only particular server for particular users .. the concern here is whenever users open devtest, first it shows the registry of where enterprise dashboard is hosted.. rather showing this registry we wanted to see/able to access only based on what server users are allowed.. or if Devtest wont aware of user details for first login , it will be good to populate the registry of previous connected one when users login from second time onwards...

    Hi,

In general, when you launch Devtest workstation at first time, it will show default registry URL as local host URL. You need to give correct registry URL and login to workstation. From next time onward, it will by default show the registry details which you have connected in last time.

    Thanks

    Hi,

There is another approach of using "lisaAutoConnect" property in local.properties file of workstation machine.

You can uncomment this property and modify the value to desired Registry URL.

Note that this will also disable the Registry pop-up box and will directly connect you to the Registry mentioned for "lisaAutoConnect".

Thanks.. but unfortunately I don't want to set this option.. because it is purely based on individual user login need.. what is really good is if DevTest workstation can pop up the registry of previously connected registry.
