    Hi,

Anybody using JavaScript calculator or any other solution to calculate and eventually alert on  STDEV of a CPU % (process) metric (or for that matter any other metric) for agents running same application?

This would be useful when some of the application instances are running hot on CPU or response time starting to deviate from mean.

I'm looking at programmatic solution rather that looking at "What's interesting" for each instance.

We are not in position to upgrade Wily anytime soon to use any new analytic features.

    Thanks

Correction - Relative Deviation, rather than standard Deviation (stdev).

Eventhough stdev could provide useful information for understanding for data variability behind a metric too.

So what would be a reasonable timeframe/timeslices to do the calculation?

Should be configurable. I'd start with 15 min.
