Has anyone developed any probes for Dell PowerEdge OMSA or HP?
Never developed anything, but we do use the cim_traps for HP gear and the dom_traps for Dell gear. Those two probes coupled with a working DELL OMSA or HP PSP configuration with snmp traps, and you can use the snmptd probe.
We rely on the Windows event log or syslog in Unix to catch issues from the hardware agents on Dell/HP/IBM servers. I am not sure how we identify the syslog messages, but I know we monitor for specific event log sources on Windows.

For those, we do not monitor specific event ids but all critical/error events.
