Hi All,

 

I am planned to use CA APM tool for Application related monitoring .Which all can be monitored using APM .the main i looking for is JVM monitoring .Is it possible .?

And kindly share the advantages.

 

     Whether trails versions can be installed and checked .

Hi Isaac,

 

Yes we do have capability in Wily for JVM monitroing especially after ver 9.1.x with GC Monitor.

 

In GC Monitor, you will be having metrics related to your JVM and GC pools like GC Time per Interval ( indicating time taken by GC to complete one cycle), percntage of time taken in GC during last 15 mins ( indicating GC health where generally 10-15% is the normal behaviour), percentage of Java heap used ( for all types of heaps i.e. old as well as young generation through which you will be able to keep a check on out-of-memory ) etc
