I am monitoring a lot of JMX stats using the jvm_monitor probe. I have set the monitoring name to be something short and meaningful but the target name that appears in SLM etc is the long JMX key (or something equivalent!). Does anyone know if there is any way to get the defined monitoring name displayed as the target?
Afraid not, it also send alarms with the Profile name as the Hostname, so any maintenance modes don't kick in and the alerts go straight to the console.
