IP update on CASD

Hi All,

 

CASD 12.7

 

In our environment it has been planned to update the IP for the servers, since the VM is getting upgraded to newer version along with new platform. We would like toknow the below ,

how CASD will get affected by this IP change. 1. will it cause any outage? 2.whether any configuration needs to be updated in CASD config 3. Also,need to know applications integrated with CASD/integrated via email wil get affected. 4.Once the IP have been updated , howto restore the application ror any testion/pre-cautions needs to be done.

 

Please share more information as possible and our help is greatly apprciated.

Hi,

If the hostname, not the ip address was used for configuration, it should be not a concern of changing the ip address only.

However, recycle SDM would be needed after ip address updated.
