I am fairly certain you would have to do this yourself in a custom probe. We are not doing anything like it, but I recently did some work getting the status of paths in preparation for a SAN upgrade. We ran a command that gave us the status of the paths. Even though we just reported that data back verbatim, I think it would be fairly easy to have a Perl/Lua probe run the same command, locate the status information in the output, and determine whether or not to generate an alarm. Does that seem like it would work for you?
