Event on category selection

    Can we have some event occurring on selection of a category for e.g. say a pop up appears as soon as user selects a category.

    One part of this requirement is controlling hiding/showing a lookup field on the ticket detail page. Use of properties is not feasible for this requirement.

    I'm sure this is not possible OOTB. May be with the customizations? If anyone has inputs, pls reply to this thread.

    For hiding\showing a lookup field on the ticket detail based on whether the category has been selected or not should be easily achievable with a PDM_IF control around the category.

     

    For the triggering of an event, I think a javascript customization would surface.
