  • 1.  SAM autologin for Windows endpoint with banner

    We're in the process of SAM implementation using CM r12.7 (OS: Win2K8R2, DB: SQL2K8R2)

    We have auto-login problem for certain Windows endpoints in ENTM. When the users press ctrl+alt+del, these
    endpoints display a banner notice (e.g. terms of use, etc). The users must click OK before the endpoint displays the login prompt.

    As a result, ENTM failed to auto-login to these endpoints. I assume this is due to the additional step (click OK) in the Windows login flow.

    What can we do in ENTM to enable auto-login to these Windows endpoints with banners/notice inserted before the login prompt? any advice is much appreciated.

    Hi Munfai,

     

    What is the difference between the hosts that work and those that don't?

    Any added security on those that don't work as expected?

    Active-X allowed on all?

    I saw you opened issue 21703674 for this, can you please upload to that issue the support data, the log collector data, the .vbs you are using for those autologin and the screenshots of what you get?

    Can we also get the active-x debug from those hosts?
