  • 1.  HIgh, 99% utilization during daytime hours.

    I have a stack of 5 ICX 7250 switches running as core routing and switching, which is showing 99% utilization during daytime hours. sh cpu task snapshot shows below.  Generally, mcast is ~20 and mcast_fwd ~10-20.  This I believe, though not certain, started around the time I deployed an IP surveillance solution, however two other buildings are not showing more than 1% utilization, those IDF are also switching only with OSPF back to the MDF stack.   I can't seem to find the commands or methods to track what exactly is causing the mcast and mcast_fwd to be what it is, if it is the problem, or if these numbers and in the normal range.
