    Hi Antonio,

Thanks for replying, I can't paste a screen shot onto this chat forum (is there a instruction somewhere? but I couldn't find it).

Anyway, after trying to upgrade from 14.2.2 to 14.3.1 failed (twice), I suspect it is not supported. After a little bit of digging, I'd found v 14.4.1 is supported from 14.2.2 (stated in the release notes). However, during the migration process - in the "Resource Validation and Data Migration" window, nothing seems to hapen for 6 hours (as the CPU utlisation is zero !). All the 'Start' and 'Next' button are greyed out ...

What is it waiting for ?

FYI - all the servcies from the current version are stopped before the migration begins.

Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter with 32 GB of RAM and 75 GB of HDD.

    Hi,

I  am trying to migrate BNA from V 14.2.2 to V 14.3.1. But when I am at the 'Copy Data and Settings' window, the file paths of the previous version (C:\Program Files\Network Advisor 14.2.2) is not being recognised as 'valid'. What exactly is the window expecting ?

    Your assistant is highly appreciated.

    Hi Antonio,
Yes, I have the correct file path, as seen in screen shot below:
    [cid:image001.png@01D44545.5B590E50]
When I checked the release notes for v 14.3.1, it mentioned v 14.2.0 and v 14.2.1 are supported in the migration, but not v 14.2.2.
Can you confirm the migration is applicable to v 14.2.2?

Did ypu stop the BNA Service before starting Upgrade ?

All Service must be started, the upgrade procedure itself stop some service during the migration.

    Hi Antonio,
We got around it now. The Window Server team put in a Symlink to the FTP directory and redirected it to another location ... As soon as he removed it, the migration steps ran successfully.
