We have a password management application that our Brocade passwords (root, admin, and factory accounts) were stored in. We don't have current hard copy of the passwords. The password management application was mistakenly reset and we lost the Brocade passwords. Is there a way to recovery the lost password for the admin or root account without having to reboot the switch. If there isn't a way to recover the password without rebooting the switch, there is another caveat. We have a pair of switches in two fabrics A/B and five neighboring Brocade 6505 switches connected to each of the 6510 switches.

you need to reboot the switch accordly the password recovery procedure. there is no othe rmethode to recovery the pwd, excepted you know the root pwd, what apparently is not the case.
Is there a password recovery document for FOS v7.4.1b running kernel 18.104.22.168?
yes, however you need to open a TAC with you Supplier/OEM to obtain the procedure.
