Hi , I have some HP Blade Chassis with Brocade Switches Model 4024 and 5480. There is also a 6510 in the same Fabric currently at FOS version 7.0.2c  .

Before I upgrade the 4024 and 5480 need to now wich FOS is supported in this environment.

The SAN Health report recommends 6.4.3e as Target Version.

Where i can find this Information.

    .THX Lutz

    Lutz,

4020 is supported only till FOS 6.2.2 release. 6.2.2g is the latest release, announced in the next feew week.

5480 and 65xx are supported by FOS 7.3.x

    Hi Antonio ,

thank you for the fast response. But now i have an other question.

The SANHealth report listed all 4020 in "MAINTENANCE SUPPORT ENDED" on the ALERTS Tab.

Does this concern to the Switch Hardware or the FOS ?

And what does this mean for my customer ? Switch replacement to newer hardware?

Can you pls send me a link to the doc where i find this information.

    THX Lutz

    Lutz,

the 4020 Blade is End of Support, since long time.

-->>And what does this mean for my customer ? Switch replacement to newer hardware?

Yes, I would suggest to Upgrade to, but no all Blade Center Server Models support NEW Switch Blade Generation.
