    Hi

I want to transfer the SAN switch logs for central server (splunk server).

    I provided the below activity

    1) Login to switch with admin user

    2) Use the command “syslogdipadd”

    3) Use the command “syslogdIpShow” to check if IP is added

    switch1:admin> syslogdipadd “192.168.23.138”

    Committing configuration…done.

    switch1:admin> syslogdIpShow

    syslog.IP.address.1: 192.168.23.138

    above activity are already done

I was Generated the new logs on SAN switch, but cann't transfer log entries on the syslog server. Server end configuration is should be ok.

I hope please you should give the great advice to me resolve this problem

    Thank you

syslogd process, is a daemon running on UNIX based OS.

if the syslogd is correct configured on the Server, the switch send sys info to the server.
