BNA Trap forwarding

    Dear Alll

    Any ideas how to check or verify if SNMP Trap Forwarding is working or not in BNA 12.0

    Can Someone help me with the MIB for BNA, which we would like ot upload to Spectrum Tool

    There is no MIB for BNA. The MIB's you would load into Spectrum would be for the products you are managing with BNA. If you are managing SAN switches with FOS 6.4 you would load the FOS 6.4 MIB's into Spectrum.


    If you have BNA configured as a trap forwarder they will forward the native switch trap with no modification. One method to confirm if this is working is to validate if there are any SNMP messages in the BNA master log, if so, these SNMP based events should be in the Spectrum receiver log.

    We have uploaded the MIBs of the products managed by BNA, even then the traps are not getting capture by spectrum,

    Is there a way to check if BNA is forwarding traps or not. Trap forwarding option in BNA is enabled and configured with recepients.
