    I would like to know the effect between the perfomance and relability for the different topology with the same total trunk ports!
    For example,  there are totally four port links for the ISL trunk between the two-side DCX switches,  then which the following topology should be much better?
    1) The four ports are placed to the same one port group
    2) The one two-ports is placed to the first port group, the other two-ports is placed to the second port group(also on the same blade)
    3) The one two-ports is placed to the first port group, the other two-ports is placed to the second port group(but on the other blade)

    If is just about performance: 1) The four ports are placed to the same one port group

     

    Because in this case the switch will do the load balance using all ports, if you segment it the first trunk will be full and after will use the second trunk.

     

    this case bellow is just if you need more security, if you lost all the blade port.

    3) The one two-ports is placed to the first port group, the other two-ports is placed to the second port group(but on the other blade)

     

    this case you don't have the redundance and performance:

    2) The one two-ports is placed to the first port group, the other two-ports is placed to the second port group(also on the same blade)

    But I do find that the slave port obviously has a much higher I/O throughput than its master port!

    So I don't know whether the two-ports trunk would work normally as the I/O load-balancing ?
