Direct-Attached Storage module J5300 40T IP configurations

Hello,

The J5300-DAS-40T appliance comes with 2 storage modules each with a Management port included.

The maintenance and upgrade document for this storage module says it is for internal use only.

However Security Analytics has a command lsi-show -h <ip address>.

Can you please elaborate on these few things mentioned above? Is there a default IP to the storage module through which we can access the module and change it's Management IP?

Hi, Trevor.

We only support in-band management on the J5300 device. What use cases did you have in mind for out-of-band storage management? I'd like to keep them in mind for future products.
