    Without IBM APAR OA51325 UCB SEGMENT and EXTENDED INFORMATION SEGMENT have corrupt data in the SMF14 and SMF15 records. Due to this fact, it causes the CA 1 utility TMSSMF to receive 0 records selected for TYPE 14 and TYPE 15 records.

     

    Please refer to KD TEC1151024 in order to explain the messages that are being received from utility TMSSMF.

    Does the IBM APAR OA51325 apply to CA TLMS as well?

    HI-

    Without the IBM apar OA51325 applied the SMF records TYPE14/15 are still missing data but this doesn't affect the TLMS SMF recovery utility. TLMS handles it differently than CA1.   The CA1 utility TMSSMF is affected because of the missing data and doesn't select any records and not allowing the TMSSMF utility to create the control cards to help you recover any data you might need.
