  • 1.  'Delete Draft' warning upon replying to message

    Posted Aug 30, 2019 04:40 AM
Every time I try to reply to a reply in a discussion thread (not the original message), this warning dialog box appears:

If I click Delete, the page reloads and a message appears:

If I click cancel, the dialog box underneath is revealed:

If I then click Save as Draft, a new dialog box appears:

If I click Close in the dialog box, or if I click Continue Editing or Delete Draft in the previous dialog box, the dialog box disappears but the window remains darkened and unresponsive to mouse or keyboard input, as though a modal dialog box were still present.

It seems that a blank reply to the original message is being automatically started without any input from the user, and that this blank reply counts as a draft. The whole thing is badly broken.

    Hi Michael,

I have tried to reproduce this, but I am not getting that error box.  Can you tell me one of the exact replies to a reply you were using so I can see if it is happening for me as well?

    Thanks
    Diane

    Hi Michael,

I have moved this to the Water Cooler discussions so more people can benefit from it and since this is not Automic related.

    Thanks
    Diane

I occasionally got this, too. Haven't gotten it for some time now, could not establish a pattern :(
