  • 1.  Multimode to single mode connection

    Hello,
    I can not find any documentation on connecting a multimode cable with multi mode SFP at the appliance side and mapping it to the device port side to a single mode SFP single mode cable to use mainframe disk.

    Device is B12004 Silkworm 12000, any advice to this matter would be helpful. 

    Can it do it?
    Do I need a license key?
    Do I need a newer Brocade?

    @david hobin  - we do not have any Brocade resources on the Broadcom Community anymore.   Please refer to this page https://community.broadcom.com/landingpage/brocade-community  and email address regarding questions on  ​Brocade products.    ~jm
