Broadcom has a web page touting the company's commitment to product quality. There, Brodcom offers for download what it claims is a certificate of broad ISO 9001 compliance. However, the proffered document, issued to Avago in Singapore by TÜV, actually covers only the semiconductor & automotive-related processes of a handful of Broadcom's subsidiaries in the US, India, Malaysia, and Singapore.

    Enterprise software is notably absent.

I would say that If it is not in support of operations and management of infrastructure based on their platforms, then it is not a core competency.  But then you would think at least 'Enterprise Infrastructure Software' which they claim as a core function would be held to a quality standard - and it isn't.
