    Hi,

it appears that our Benelux System Automation Xchange User Group (SAX) group is not listed anymore on the groups page:
    Groups Community Blog - Groups

Can this still be restored? Don't want to reup all the presentations etc again :)

    Thanks

    Marcel,

We will have to review this group and see if we can bring it over. We did have some criteria we considered (size of 50+ users, recent activity, etc.) that it may not have met.

@Jason McClellan -- do you remember this one from the audit you did?

It seems like we may need to re-create this group if you're going to need it going forward.

    Is that right, @Jason McClellan?

Marcel -   I am reviewing your request to research a legacy group and create it on the new community.    I have a few questions:

    1.  Who from Broadcom will be the group admin and monitor it?
    2.  Approximately how many members did you have when it was live on Community.CA.com
    3.  What are you expecting as far as ongoing engagement for this group?

These questions are related to an audit of all current groups that were migrated.   If they have no owner "Broadcom Employee Representation" as the admin in the group and no traffic - they are being earmarked for archival.

Jason, I can't remember if we had a CA representative admin to monitor.

The last few years we've actively been workin with Tom Juhl and Michael Kiehl.

Our local representative in Benelux has been Jan van den Broek from Belgium.

The number of registrated members was probably just about 50. Could have been more, could have been less., but they were not very active on the community.

We shared all our session content and knowledge docs on that community, so we'd like to have that plus the membernames restored if at all  possible.

We (Patrick Barrez and me) have been running this usergroup for over 20 years and have been meeting regularly  with CA (Broadcom) technical support presence almost every year.

And our next meeting is planned for October.

    Regards,

Marcel -  it looks like a total of 49 users with 10 being @broadcom.com Employees .  The Community Mgmt team is reaching out to current product teams for owner ship.    We are unable to migrate any new Groups but it is possible to stand up a new Group and export some of the old content and repost if it is needed.   Most new groups start fresh due to the legacy nature and branding of old CA documentation.   I'll post back to this thread when I hear back from the internal team.   Thx ~jm

    Marcel,

There may not be a permitted way for us to share personal contact information from an old system via email (GDPR and similar regulations).

Have you tried simply promoting your upcoming meeting in the global product community? That might be a great way to recruit new members who may not even know about the user group as well.

    Hi there,

Please re-create this SAX User group!
It is one of the oldest we had within the CA Communities.
If you need an CA/Broadcom admin, you can add me and my Dutch colleague Hennie.Hermans@Broadcom.com, who was part of the community from the start and who is also aware of this issue....
