While AI continues to dominate many conversations, and we continue to get great feedback on our AI and Tokenomics dashboard, we know that there remain many other FinOps problems to solve! This July, we are turning up the heat on cloud efficiency with highly requested updates designed to automate cost savings and streamline multi-cloud governance. Highlighting our brand-new Waste Identification and Elimination Workflow and deep drill-downs for Azure and GCP rightsizing, this release bridges the gap between FinOps visibility and engineering action. We’re also empowering our Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with advanced billing transparency and independent rerun capabilities, ensuring accurate and frictionless operations.
Cost Optimization & Automation
Waste Identification and Elimination Workflow
We are introducing a powerful, policy-driven framework that enables organizations to systematically identify, prioritize, and remediate cloud resource waste based on custom business intent. This framework is now available as part of the new experience.
This includes centralized visibility on the Optimization dashboard and a first-class native integration with Jira Cloud, Email, and Webhooks for automated ticket routing directly to engineering teams.
Policy and action evaluation results are now reviewable under Governance in the new Policy Studio.
FinOps is only successful when insights turn into action. By seamlessly connecting cloud visibility with operational accountability, this workflow eliminates the friction between finance and engineering. Automated remediation tickets ensure that optimization recommendations are actively worked on, driving tangible business savings and closing the loop on cloud waste.
The ability to track historical financial returns via the Realized Savings dashboard will be coming soon.
Enhanced Rightsizing Drilldowns for Azure and GCP
We have introduced enriched drilldown views for both Azure and GCP rightsizing recommendations to provide deeper visibility into underlying asset metrics and resource configurations. Users can now click into a resource to view the exact usage metrics (maximum, average, and minimum utilization) driving the recommendation, as well as an asset details view to evaluate dependencies. This is available now for both Azure and GCP rightsizing in the new experience (please note that metrics for Azure Disks and Azure Databricks Workspaces are currently excluded).
Additionally, GCP recommendations can now be grouped or filtered based on specific perspectives, perspective groups, and regions.
Confidence is key when asking engineers to downsize or terminate resources. By providing deeper visibility into the underlying asset metrics and resource configurations, FinOps practitioners can build trust with engineering teams, proving that recommendations are backed by comprehensive, easily accessible data.
Azure RI Realized Savings Expansion
We are expanding our Azure coverage to automatically ingest and calculate realized savings for newly released, RI-eligible services. This update introduces comprehensive financial tracking for 11 specialized cloud commitments—including AzureFiles, Azure Backup, Azure AI Foundry, Data Factory, and Databricks. This additional functionality is available now as part of the Realized Savings dashboard.
Measuring the exact Return on Investment (ROI) for specialized multi-cloud commitments has traditionally been a major blind spot for FinOps teams. This update eliminates that gap, providing an automated, accurate picture of your realized savings and reinforcing the financial value of your optimization strategy across all asset classes.
Platform & Dashboard Enhancements
Custom Dataset Sharing Across Organizational Units
It is now possible to share Custom Datasets from the Top-Level Organizational Unit (TLOU) to all OUs. Most importantly, any Reports and Dashboards created off these datasets can now be shared and utilized across all OUs. This sharing model is consistent with current functionality between Reports and Dashboards. You can manage this from the Datasets page in the new experience.
Enterprise FinOps requires consistent reporting across complex organizational structures. This sharing model ensures that all business units are operating from the same single source of truth, drastically reducing the administrative burden of rebuilding custom reports and dashboards for individual teams.
Come to the light: Next-Level UI, Dashboard Customization & Performance
Dashboards in the New Experience have received a massive upgrade. We have introduced an HTML Widget for custom branding and buttons, as well as collapsible Dashboard Sections to logically group multiple widgets together. Dashboards now feature lazy loading for out-of-view widgets to significantly decrease aggregate load times. The theme picker is located in the top-right of the screen in the banner as a “sun” icon.
Additionally, the new experience now features a Light Mode theme, with enhancements to the colors of Dark Mode to make it more accessibility friendly.

Managed Service Provider (MSP) Capabilities
Partner Statement Details & Billing Reruns
MSPs can now view the exact configuration details used by partner billing to generate each month's customer statement for AWS and GCP. Additionally, CloudHealth now takes snapshots of the configuration used for all generated bills. Crucially for AWS, users can now independently view differences between configurations and initiate a partner billing rerun directly from the UI or API if a discrepancy is detected, with the ability to choose between historical or active account assignments. Statement details are available now for AWS and GCP on the Customer Statements page. Billing rerun and auditing capabilities are available now for AWS (please note that it is not possible to undo a partner billing rerun once it is completed).
MSPs manage highly complex billing environments where configuration drift can cause significant invoice discrepancies. By exposing exact configuration snapshots and empowering partners to trigger their own billing reruns without contacting CloudHealth support, we are drastically accelerating billing resolution times and enhancing operational autonomy.
