Fresh from the Labs: FinOpsX Reflections and Our June 2026 Updates

What a whirlwind of a month! San Diego was incredible for FinOpsX. Connecting with so many of you at our booth , sharing a coffee from the CloudHealth barista, watching people play the FinOps Odyssey throwback game, getting to watch the joy on the faces of our winners as they received their prizes! FinOpsX has been an educational, networking building and FUN conference. 2026 was no exception, we kept it fun all the way through. 

As a PM team, there is nothing better than getting direct feedback from users, live and in person! We walked away with notebooks crammed full of your fantastic feedback on our recent releases, a ton of inspiration from our roadmap discussions, and an immense sense of pride watching the community celebrate five years of FinOps X growth, and shock at the thought that it might be the last! More on that another time!

We revealed our awesome AI and Tokenomics Dashboard, now GA and ready for you to try out. We also launched our FOCUS multi-cloud dataset and report. Check out Sanjna’s dedicated blog on both of these. 

While our team was out on the expo floor, our engineers back at the labs were quietly putting the finishing touches on another stellar batch of features. Now that we’re all back and fully caffeinated, let’s dive into the fresh updates we shipped for June 2026!

Tightening Governance and Security

We know that enterprise cloud management requires razor-sharp control over who sees what, and absolute trust in how your data moves. This month, we brought two major quality-of-life upgrades to the Classic CloudHealth Experience.

Secret Webhook Headers

Integrating CloudHealth with your downstream applications just got a whole lot more secure. 

With our latest update, you can now securely obfuscate custom HTTP headers. The moment you mark a header as a "secret," CloudHealth triggers automatic AES encryption at rest and permanently masks that value in all external responses. The backend transparently decrypts the token during live deliveries and test workflows. Plus, our smart preservation lifecycle means you can modify other webhook settings down the road without constantly having to re-enter your credentials. This update is entirely backward compatible, giving you instant peace of mind with zero migration required.

New Forecasting Permissions

To give you better guardrails on which users get to see and edit forecast data, we’ve introduced new, granular permissions: Read Forecast, Update Forecast, and Export Forecast.

No stress about broken workflows: To make sure your day-to-day operations don't skip a beat, we have automatically migrated all of your existing users so they retain their current access levels. No immediate action is required to maintain the status quo. If there’s a specific internal role you’d prefer to keep out of the forecasting data, admins can simply jump into settings and uncheck those permissions.

Expanding Your Multi-Cloud Arsenal

The new CloudHealth experience continues to grow by leaps and bounds, focusing heavily on modern architectures and helping you squeeze every drop of value out of your multi-cloud environment.

Measuring ROI of GCP Resource-Based CUDs

FinOps isn’t just a reporting exercise; it’s about taking action. If you are leveraging Google Cloud, you can now measure the exact financial impact of your GCP resource-based Committed Use Discounts (CUDs).

This data is now seamlessly integrated directly into your Optimization and Realized Savings dashboard, making it incredibly easy to track your Commitment Savings, Coverage, and Utilization month-over-month. All historical data is available starting from June 2026.

Asset support for AWS Redshift Serverless Support

Serverless architectures are fantastic for scaling, but they can easily become an invisible drain on your budget if left unmonitored. To counter this, CloudHealth now fully supports AWS Redshift Serverless Workgroups and Namespaces.

These assets are now completely visible right inside the CloudHealth Asset Explorer. You can easily organize them, track them, and categorize them in your Perspectives to ensure serverless data warehousing spend is aligned and allocated correctly. Be sure to update your AWS IAM policy to query these resources. 

UI Improvements and Bug Fixes

True efficiency lives in the details. Alongside our headline features, we've rolled out a slew of user interface enhancements and bug fixes to make your daily navigation smoother.

Smart UI Tweaks:

• Azure Charge Type Filters: You can now filter by Azure charge types across Cost History, Cost Change, and Smart Summary views.

• Cleaner Charts: We’ve thinned out the density of time interval x-axis labels on charts utilizing Weekly, Daily, and Hourly intervals so your data has room to breathe.

• More AI Tracking: In line with the big AI conversations at FinOpsX, the AI and Tokenomics Dashboard now officially includes support for AWS Kiro.

Critical Bug Squashes:

• Fixed a rare but frustrating glitch where the left-hand navigation menu would continually flash open and closed.

• Resolved an issue where navigating to the dashboard via the left-hand menu pushed an accidental extra history entry, forcing you to click your browser's "back" button twice to get away.

• Clicking "add widget" from the widget library will now smartly place it at the end of your dashboard instead of awkwardly stacking it at the top-left.

• Fixed column header tooltip positioning in Smart Summary so they no longer clip off-screen.

• Corrected a bug where empty categories were erroneously displayed as 0 and empty x-axes defaulted to "others".
