Fresh from the Labs - CloudHealth Product Enhancements February 2026

The latest FinOps Foundation's State of FinOps report underscores the critical need for robust tools that provide granular cloud visibility, optimization capabilities, and a unified view across multi-cloud environments. As organizations mature in their FinOps practice, the complexity of managing cloud spend—especially across AWS, Azure, and GCP—demands solutions that simplify data curation, automate anomaly detection, and deliver actionable insights like commitment discount recommendations.

This need was a central theme at the recent CloudHealth Roundtable, where industry leaders discussed the future of multi-cloud cost management. A key takeaway was the necessity of moving beyond basic cost reporting to true financial engineering, leveraging deep data analysis to drive efficiency.

This month's product enhancements directly address these challenges, bringing next-level visibility and optimization to your multi-cloud operations. We've focused on delivering powerful, yet easy-to-use, features that empower your FinOps team to turn complex cloud data into strategic business value.

Next Level Visibility

Custom Datasets: Curate, Join, or Merge Datasets

CloudHealth is excited to announce the general availability of UI based curation, join and merge capabilities for Custom Datasets. Customers can now turn large datasets into smaller curated datasets, or join and merge many datasets to calculate unit costs and perform multi-cloud reporting.

Users can choose between 4 types of JOIN, or two types of MERGE without having to write complex SQL. Datasets can be set to public or private visibility to allow iteration on datasets. Datasets are instantly available to create reports on. Learn more in the documentation section.

Asset Support for Azure Container Applications

Azure Container Apps are now available within the new experience Asset Explorer. Customers can now monitor min replica settings, HTTP concurrency and more using the newly collected Asset and its metadata. ACA is now categorizable in perspectives and usable within missing tag policies.

Column Editor Changes

We have introduced a new column editor location on Assets and Smart Summary. To improve the UX this new column editor supports search, and will apply column selection upon close. This new column editor will replace the existing manage columns feature on all reports over future releases.

For Our GCP Users

Commitment Discounts: Support for GCP Resource-based CUDs

We are pleased to announce the general availability of GCP Committed User Discounts (CUDs) Recommendations. This capability provides Resource-based CUDs recommendations for all eligible GCP services. Within the new CloudHealth experience, AWS, Azure and GCP Resource based commitments can be reviewed in a single pane of glass, enabling you to assess opportunities across clouds and prioritize those with the highest Return on Investment (ROI).

GCP Cost History: New GKE Dimensions

For the first phase of full GKE support in the platform, two new dimensions have been added to the GCP Cost History Report; Namespace Name and Cluster Name. Customers can now see containerized spend from GKE alongside non containerized GCP spend.

Anomaly Detection: Support for GCP

We are pleased to extend Anomaly Detection in the New Experience to GCP, now including support for Marketplace charges, in addition to existing AWS and Azure coverage. This enhancement detects unusual changes in GCP core spend and marketplace spend, and gives you clear ownership to investigate and take action - making your multi-cloud strategy more cost-effective.

With Anomaly Detection, you can identify spend anomalies across your cloud portfolio and quickly investigate using flexible filters such as time period, account, service, region, marketplace, and cost impact. You can also sort and search results to focus on the anomalies that matter most across three major cloud providers. For more details, please refer to the Help Center article
