CA Client Automation - Patch Management - Published Patch Me OS Rollup, Office IntelliRollups and OS Extended Support IntelliRollup for January, 2025(v2501.00)

On behalf of CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company, we are pleased to notify you that rollups for January, 2025 is now available.

The following rollups have been published:

Rollups:

·        CA - Patch Me - Security IntelliRollup v2501.00

·        CA - Microsoft OS Extended Support Update - IntelliRollup v2501.00

·        CA - Office 32Bit - Security IntelliRollup v2501.00

·        CA - Office 64Bit - Security IntelliRollup v2501.00

These items will be available for acceptance in your Patch Manager GUI after the next successful run of the “Software Contents Download Job”.

Note: Microsoft announced support for Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 is end on October 10,  2023. After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates and non-security updates. If customers want to continue these platforms, they will need to purchase support and use Extended Security Updates (ESUs) for up to three years from Microsoft.

If customer get EOS support from Microsoft and would like to patch Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2, use the latest version of below rollup from CA Patch Management.  Please ensure that intelli-rollup v2310.00 rollup and previous extended rollups should be deployed prior to the below rollup.
 "CA - Microsoft OS Extended Support Update - IntelliRollup v25010.00"

IMPORTANT: To support Windows 11 security rollups with CA Patch Management, the following fix(99112337) should be installed on DM r14.5 CU7 or EM r14.5 CU7 where Patch Management is present.
