DX Operational Observability

Heads Up!  Rolling Out the New Pipeline and Consolidated UI 

Providing a unified experience for functional teams across IT involving data, alerts, insights and automation is a core tenet of DX Operational Observability (DX O2). 

With DX O2 26.4.1 (SaaS), we continue with these enhancements by establishing a unified alerting experience via a new pipeline and user interface. These changes will set the stage for greater scalability and provide a consistent, reliable way for you to manage alarms and notifications. 

No action is required from you to complete the transition.

For your understanding, please refer to this short video that outlines the UI updates, process changes and enhanced capabilities. Below are the steps that the DX O2 product team will take and recommendations to help you prepare for these enhancements. 

From the product team:

• Changes to customer tenants will be deployed in batches 

• Communication: Prior to making changes, the product team will contact you to share the specific date when you will see these changes

• Coordination: The product team will detail our steps through this process to manage risk and monitor performance

What You Can Do Now:

• Familiarize yourself with the new Alerting UI: 

• Navigate to Settings > APM Management modules.

• Explore notification policies

• Go to Settings > Create Policies and explore the notification options.

• Read details of these changes in the newly posted Alerting API documentation and the DX O2 26.4.1 (SaaS) release notes.
