Details can be found at: http://www.ca.com/us/products/collateral.aspx?cid=177679 ELIGIBILITY: To participate, you must be 21 years of age or older and an employee of an organization that is using a CA solution in at least one of the following seven focus areas: Governance, Service Management, Infrastructure Management, Workload Automation, Application Management, or Security Management (the “Focus Areas”). Winner cannot be an employee of CA or a member of the household or immediate family of any such employee. Winner cannot be employed by any entity that prohibits its employees from accepting the Prizes nor for which the award of the Prize would cause a conflict of interest. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Multiple entries may be submitted, however, only one prize per winner may be awarded. Winners agree to participate in a phone interview and to allow a written case study to be made available on any CA, Inc. websites as well as a video testimonial to be used during CA World event and/or on any CA, Inc. websites. THE PRIZES: A separate winner will be selected in the Vision, Impact and Progress categories for each of the seven Focus Areas. Each of the twenty-one winners will receive paid registration to CA World 2008 (held on November 16-20, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada) valued at approximately $1,595. All costs and expenses not covered by the prize description (including but not limited to travel and other expenses) are the winner's sole responsibility. Travel and expenses are not included. The twenty-one winners will additionally receive recognition and a plaque at the associated focus area opening sessions at CA World 2008. Winners are responsible for reporting and paying all federal, state and local, if any, taxes on account of winning the prize. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure that the acceptance of this prize does not violate any laws or regulations of any kind, including but not limited to any conflict of interest or gift policies in effect at the Winner's company or organization. CA VIP AWARDS GUIDELINES: Judges, to include CA employees and one independent judge, will evaluate submissions and select one winner in each of the Vision, Impact and Progress categories for each of the seven Focus Areas, selected against the following set of criteria: - Strategic importance of solution to the eligible participant's business.. - Degree to which solution addresses target challenges. - Availability of supporting examples. - Submissions in the Vision category will additionally be judged on the degree to which the eligible participant has a groundbreaking vision involving the CA solution to address key business goals or solve a critical business problem. - Submissions in the Impact category will additionally be judged based on supporting metrics (i.e. dollars saved, productivity improvements, etc.) that demonstrate the value delivered by the software. - Submissions in the Progress category will additionally be judged on implementation and planning progress and success.
